headphones

i am in the market for some new headphones being that my old pair found its way through a bread toaster at my job over the summer. now i use a pair of 9 dollar ear-wrapping pieces of ass that emit horrible sound. moral of the story: keep nice things at home.

regardless at some point i would like to get some more.

these were the headphones that i had before that i carelessly destroyed: click here

they were an awesome pair of headphones that had great sound. for what its worth and the price, they are immaculate.

but i don’t want another pair of them. thing is my house-mate has a pair that we jointly use for the pc/consoles. getting another pair would be redundant.

so with my next pair, i want to go with something a little-more long-term. a pair that will knock me down and still pick me back up every time i turn my ipod on.

naturally i plan on waiting until i get a real job. one that will validate my years spent in college, pay my bills and afford me a comfortable, future-proof lifestyle.

whatever that means.

or i can splurge on a future paycheck and listen to devo while my exotic pets and i starve.

i have so far lost plenty of weight by doing this - summer is SLOWLY approaching us and i think i will look real cute in my new floral-patterned two-piece while tapping my painted toes in my pink sandals to the eurythmics.

or i can just wait.

i think in all due respect to that hot image of myself, i will wait.

naturally (because i am wasteful) i am going with two bose headphones as my choices:

1 -Bose In-ear

2 - Bose On-ear

I trust the quality of both to be excellent. At least in the long-term. I have used both in stores (best buy where i worked and at others) and liked them. I’m torn. Do I save money and buy the in-ear set damaging my hearing in the long-run? Do I buy the on-ear set for more money and enjoy the comfort of having headphones that slip over my head (i have waxy ears - lack of showering) and damage my hearing “less”? I am also a branded individual who tends to be INDOCTRINATED and hard to sway when i make up my mind.

or do sway me. i find that i can be easily persuaded if all offered conditions are deemed appropriate in my own mind.
what?

get back at me.

is there a middle ground? like an on-ear pair that is $99?

    thats what im looking for.

like i said, im planning it out.
no need to rush into it.

    long-term.

so i can afford the time to dabble and look around for the right package: price, quality, etc.
